Stephanie Johnson
Stephanie believes yoga is a great place to start if you're new to feeling good in your body OR as a perfect add-on to the mature athlete trying to find their edge. The dynamic practice of yoga in the way Stephanie presents it, is able to meet people where they are in their bodies and in their mind.
Stephanie uses the philosophy of yoga to move her clients through their bodies, past their mind and into their highest purpose, using their body as their vessel for channeling the energy needed to withstand everyday challenges, whether that be a pro-athlete, mom or executive.
Stephanie found yoga in 2011 when health was not on her side. Gym time and running could not fill the cup, heal her body or mind. After her first yoga experience, she knew this practice was different. It was working from the inside out.
Stephanie has always had a deep inner passion for human performance, nature and philosophy, growing up in a large family in the Annapolis area and being an athlete. After 13 years working in corporate finance, practicing yoga moderately while dealing with health complications along the way, Stephanie finally decided to take her 200hr RYT yoga teacher training in 2020. Since completing teacher training Stephanie has continued to grow her teaching practice through 300hr RYT teacher training and Kundalini 200hr RYT teacher training, in progress.
Additionally, Stephanie has continued studies in NLP (neuro linguistic programming), is a certified Cellular Health Coach, Reiki II practitioner, KundaDance certified teacher. She is owner of Organic Growth Coaching and Organic Growth Business Consulting, transmuting her corporate experience to helping humans in business and leadership reach their next level of success.
Stephanie grew up in Crownsville, MD and was an avid athlete pre-college in Lacrosse and Soccer. Stephanie now lives in Arnold with her husband and their blended family of 4 children. When she's not guiding humans or exploring yoga and human performance in her own body and mind, Stephanie enjoys spending time at the beach and in the mountains with her husband, 4 children and 10 year old pit-puggle pup.
