All Bodies: Slow Flow, Beginner Friendly
Slow, intentional practice with multi-level integration and sound bath
Service Description
We'll take our time with more props, explanations, and attention to variation in poses. In this nurturing, slow-flow yoga journey, we'll have a full seventy minute retreat to include breath work, slow yoga sequences, guided meditation and extended resting pose with sound bath, (when Kathryn is available to teach). This class is beginner friendly, with options for all levels and options to extend, intensify, modify or shorten poses. We'll practice as we are, in the bodies we have, without judgment, and with props, to help us find the yoga we can do right now. Attention given to ways of reducing stress in yoga practice. Taught with Kathryn's nurturing yoga style, with beginners in mind and inclusive, trauma-informed practices. Kathryn's unique background, experience and training. She will be bringing gentle live sound and sound bath elements to her yoga classes. Exception with substitutions. Kathryn’s common saying: “You’re body’s cues are more important than mine” This class is for all bodies: shapes, genders, sexual orientations, and flexibilities who have doctor’s permission to practice yoga. Participating in this class means that you accept others as they are, in their full truth, just as we will accept you. Neurodiversity is welcome.
